Smith Vineyard lies over a bed of river rock 100 ft. from the Dry Creek Valley. Here our Grenache Noir can soak in the heat from the stones beneath it, and gain a touch of minerality to balance out the natural strawberry flavors. 33% Russian Oak adds creamy cedar aromas, reminiscent of butterscotch, and a gentle layer of tannin. The wine is a lovely garnet color, easy drinking, and magnificent with beef, veal, and pork.
