The history of our Tin Cross Estate Vineyard is interwoven with the lives of outlaws, idealists, and visionaries. Originally planted in 1855, the site boasts a rare integration of wilderness and viticulture developed over centuries. Carved into the steep slopes of Pine Mountain, ranging in elevation from 1800 to 2450 ft. the vineyard is sustainably farmed without synthetic chemicals.
The 2019 Tin Cross Estate Cabernet offers flavors and aromas of blueberry, clove, and plum, with underlying earthy flavors of gravel and savory wood. The wine is full and balanced on the palate, with chewy satisfying tannins on a lengthy finish. Made in our solar powered winery, this wine is a blend of our highest elevation plantings showcasing the intensity, balance, and complexity of high mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.
