The Tin Cross Reserve Cabernet Franc shows a deep ruby color with vibrant intensity. Aromas of green bell pepper, overripe plum, tobacco, blackberry, and cedar lead to a dry palate with medium-plus acidity, fine tannins, and pronounced flavors of cooked blackberry, anise, fresh tobacco leaf, and savory tomato. Medium-plus in body, it finishes long and complex with hints of game and spice. This well-balanced, very good wine captures the varietal's character and has excellent aging potential.
