Alliage is a Bordeaux blend comprised of hand selected Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from the Santa Cruz Mountains, and rounded off with Merlot from Alexander Valley. The wine is deep brick red in color, with a nose of forest sage and madrone . The entry on the palate is silky, leading to gripping tannin and a lasting finish, and finally, offering flavors of berry and hints of leather. This wine was barreled in a combination of French and American oak, and will continue to improve with age.
